Matt Lauer's Twitter is gone.
Just a day after sexual harassment allegations surfaced and led to his ousting from NBC, his account is no longer available on the social network.

That page can appear if an account is deleted or if it's suspended. Twitter did not immediately respond to a request for comment. The company does not typically comment on the events of individual accounts.
It's likely that Lauer chose to remove it. Twitter has been full of critical reactions to the inappropriate sexual behavior reported by Varietyand The New York Times. Old TV segments of Lauer spread virally on Twitter in the hours following the reports. Lauer wouldn't be the first celebrity to abandon Twitter due to personal attacks.
Lauer released a statement early Thursday in response to the allegations.
“There are no words to express my sorrow and regret for the pain I have caused others by words and actions," the statement reads. "To the people I have hurt, I am truly sorry."
